Ochert Bosch Botha was born in Cape Colony on 25 February 1916. Formerly a Signalman with South African Railways, he attested for service in the South African Artillery on 27 November 1939 and attested for service in the Union Defence Forces on 15 April 1940. With the S.A.A. he served in Kenya, Abyssinia, Egypt and the Western Desert. He was taken prisoner on 23 November 1941 and remained held in camps in Italy and Germany until 8 May 1945. Sold with copied service papers. Also entitled to the 1939-35 Star, Africa Star and Efficiency Medal.

Raymond Huworth Vice was born in the Transsvaal on 29 February 1924. A laboratory assistant by occupation, he attested for service with the Union Defence Forces on 7 August 1943, having previously served in the N.V.B. 95th Artillery. With the Anti-Tank Regiment, S.A.A. he served in Egypt and Italy from January 1944 to the end of the war. Sold with copied service papers. Also entitled to the 1939-45 and Italy Stars.

Raymond Johanathan Webb was born in Douglas, Cape Province on 3 September 1920. he attested for service on 23 June 1942 and served as a Signaller in the Special Signal Services, South African Corps of Signals - manning Radar installations. He was discharged as medically unfit on 8 July 1943. Sold with original medal registered envelope and forwarding slip, also with copied service papers.
