Percy Charles Wild lived in Swinton, Lancashire and enlisted at Manchester. Serving with the 1st/6th Battalion Manchester Regiment, he was killed in action in Gallipoli, 7 August 1915, aged 25 years. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.

Oscar Wild was born in Swinton on7 March 1893. He attested for service in the 2nd/6th Battalion Manchester Regiment on 2 September 1914. He was granted a commission in the 3rd/10th Battalion Manchester Regiment in August 1916. He suffered a shrapnel wound to the lip at St. Quentin, 15 April 1917 and was shipped back to England for treatment. Returning to duty, he was promoted Lieutenant in the 10th Battalion Manchester Regiment on 5 February 1918 and was attached to the 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment.

Samuel Stanley Wild was born in Swinton, and living in Manchester, enlisted at Salford. Serving with the 9th Battalion Royal Fusiliers, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 11 October 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
