Stephen Higgins was born near Dublin and attested for the H.E.I. Company’s service at Dublin on 5 June 1845, aged 20 years. He served throughout in India for a total of 21 years 210 days, was four times tried by Court Martial, and was discharged in the rank of Corporal, at Mhow, on 25 September 1865. Sold with copy discharge papers.
