Important British, Irish and World Banknotes

One Pound, 1 August 1919, D/U 3081, Breton-Kennedy signatures, overstamped british on each side, pink underprint not extending into corners (McCammon GN 26; Pick 9A). Some light staining on left side, otherwise good very fine to about extremely fine, very rare (£2,500-3,000)

Issued in April 1921. The british overprint measures 170 x 38mm
