Victoria (1837-1901), Restrike Pattern Penny, 1860, type 4 [3+D], copper, similar, edge plain, struck en médaille, 11.12gm (Freeman 860 [Sale, lot 288]; BMC 2132). Characteristic group of rust spots on neck partially polished out, usual minor rust marks in reverse field, brilliant and practically as struck, superbly patinated with mirror-like fields, an exceptional specimen, rare (£180-220)
