Legastelois, La France showing military manoeuvres to a standing youth, rev. warship and soldiers, upper tablet impressed (Hôpital No.6, Chartreux, 1914-1915), 58 x 39mm (CGMP p.233; Frankenhuis 240); Battle of the Marne, 1914, a bronze medal by J.-P. Legastelois, conjoined busts of Joffre, Maunoury and Gallieni right, rev. robed figure with sword above the field of battle, 68mm (Frankenhuis 102; CGMP p.232; BDM VII, 545; V & A Exh. Cat. 1998, 10; cf. DNW 61, 1397); La Paix du Monde, 1919, bronze medals by Marcelle R. Crocé-Lancelot (2), figure of La France holding standard, stood on globe, rev. cock standing in front of a view of the Palace of Versailles, 59mm (CGMP p.108; cf. DNW 68, 1680) [5].
