Hiberno-Norse issues (c.995-c.1150), Penny, bust left, pellet in front, trefoil of pellets behind, pellet above cross pattée on neck, rev. voided long cross, hand in first and fourth quarters, blundered legends, 0.86g/11h (SCBI Copenhagen 219, same obv. die; S 6132). Legends weakly struck in places and some light scratches in second quarter of reverse, otherwise very fine with well-struck portrait (£200-250)
