Robert III (1390-1406), Heavy coinage, First issue, Lion, mm. cross potent on obv. only, large crowned shield, 3.88g/9h (SCBI 35, 514, same dies; B 4/6, and figs. 351/356, same obv. die; S 5154). Face of St Andrew flat, otherwise good fine and a very rare variety (£1,000-1,200)
