Stephen (1135-1154), Penny, Lincoln, Gladwine, g[ladpine : o]n : linc, 1.34g/3h (N 881; S 1282). Chipped at 7 o’clock and legends part flat, otherwise fine and extremely rare of this moneyer (£300-350)

Only one other example believed known (Glendining Auction, 21 September 1983, lot 80, catalogued as Oslac, the s is now thought a g). This moneyer is also recorded for an erased die issue (SCBI 17, 827) and the pereric issue (SCBI 27, 947)
