Edward the Confessor (1042-1066), Penny, York, Slewine, slepine on eofepi, rev. annulet in field, 0.96g/12h (Freeman 322; N 816; S 1173). Minor verdigris spots on obverse, otherwise good very fine and excessively rare, the moneyer known only for this type and this is the sole example recorded by Freeman (£300-350)
