Victoria (1837-1901), 1860, restrike by J. Moore for E. Shorthouse, type 4, in bronzed-copper, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. Britannia seated to left on rock, no legend, edge plain, 9.69g/12h (F 861 [dies 4+D; not in Sale]; BMC 2133; Magnay 294, this coin; Adams 188; ‘Gregory’ 422). Characteristic group of rust spots on neck polished out, usual minor rust marks in reverse field and Britannia weakly struck up, extremely fine, rare (£180-220)
