Victoria (1837-1901), 1860, restrike by J. Moore for E. Shorthouse, type 3, in bronzed-copper, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. Britannia seated to right on rock within beaded inner circle, one penny above, date below, all incuse on a raised border, edge plain, 9.95g/12h (F 850 [dies 2+C; not in Sale]; BMC 2122; Magnay 284; Adams 179). Characteristic group of rust spots on neck, otherwise brilliant and as struck, very rare (£200-250)
