Victoria (1837-1901), 1860, by L.C. Wyon, in bronzed-copper, young head left, hair tied in a bun, victoria · d : g : britanniar : reg : f : d . around, rev. Britannia seated left, lcw below shield, one penny above, mdccclx in exergue, beaded borders both sides, edge plain, 13.19g/12h (F 753 [Sale, lot 225]; BMC 2048; Adams –). Light scuffing on neck and in reverse field, otherwise extremely fine and of the highest rarity, very few specimens known (£1,200-1,500)
