Victoria (1837-1901), 1860 mule, dies Cd, similar, rev. toothed border, lcw below shield, 9.37g/12h (Gouby G; Satin 8; F 8 [dies 1+D; Sale, lot 6]; Adams –; BMC 1624; S 3954). Die flaw above hair, bagmarks and slight rubbing on high points of face, otherwise extremely fine with almost full original colour, extremely rare and the finest known specimen (£1,000-1,500)

Superior to the Peck/Freeman specimen, sold for £700 in 1984
