Austria, Good Service, c.1917, a silver medal by H. Kautsch, bust of the Emperor Charles right, reverse wreath and crossed flags, FORTITVDINI, 41mm. Obverse fine, reverse very fine; with clip and ring for suspension (£10-15)

Austrian medals bearing the portrait of the Emperor Charles, who acceded to the throne on 30 Dec. 1916, are very seldom seen, yet unusally there are three in this auction.
