Exposition Universelle, Paris, 1900, Concours de Polo, a silver plaque by F.-C.-V. de Vernon, winged Victory showering branches over city of Paris, rev. male athlete on a podium, robed, holding a branch, 60 x 42mm (cf. PBE 970; BDM VI, 243). Test scratch in obverse field, otherwise good very fine, very rare in silver (£100-150)
