Historical and Art Medals

La République, 1897, a silver award medal by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis adapted for the Département de la Seine, similar, rev. naked boy with basket of flowers, tablet named (Cours d’Arboriculture de Mr Chevalier à Montreuil s/Bois en 1899, Mr Jean Bernadon, Prix du Département), 50mm (CGMP p.170). Obverse with light scratches and has been polished, otherwise good fine; in original red fitted case of issue (£30-40)
