Wyon, bust of Henry de la Beche right, rev. crossed mining axes, edge named (Edgar Jackson, Royal School of Mines, 1872-3), 45mm (BHM 2264; E 1402); Mining Institute of Cornwall, a bronze medal, unsigned, seated miner with shield, mining works in background, rev. wreath, named (Wm. Bennetts, 1883), 51mm; Institute of Fuel, Melchett Medal, a bronze award by J.R. Pinches, standing male artisan with press, coal pithead machinery and pile of coal at right, rev. wreath, named (James Grieve King, 1944), 63mm (MJP p.64) [3].
