Bank of England, Abraham Newland, £50, 3 April 1780, serial number 29, date serial number, signature and countersignature handwritten, Britannia at top left, one large cancellation hole at left, signature removed as cancellation, worn edges, small holes along central fold, tape repair on the 50mm tear, clean paper with strong visible print and manuscript text, a very presentable very good, this is one of only two notes recorded in EPM, an exceptionally rare and early high denomination note, truly remarkable!
