Celtic, bronze toggles or dress fasteners (2), 1st century AD, each 40mm x 16mm, comprising boss and petal with red and green enamel in four cells divided by a saltire, open triangular leg below [2]. Both very fine with traces of red enamel and with green patina £80-£100
The single boss and petal motif is thought to be the earliest of the dress fasteners.
