Cyril Arthur Kenkins was born in Birmingham on 5 July 1898 and enlisted into the R.N.V.R. as an Ordinary Seaman on 12 February 1917. He served on the battleship Centurion, July 1917-February 1918. Sold with Silver War Badge, R.N. whistle, A.R.P. lapel badge. enamelled ‘C.D.’ lapel badge, cloth R.N. badge, two pairs of cloth rank chevrons (two stripes), two pairs of cloth ‘Warden’ badges, a cloth ‘Coventry’ badge and medal riband bars. Also with copied service paper.
