Waterloo 1815 (Thomas Garner, 2nd Batt. 69th Reg. Foot) fitted with steel clip and ring suspension, contact marks and edge bruising, otherwise very fine £1600-1800

Thomas Garner was born in the Parish of Exton, Rutland, and enlisted into the 69th Foot on 1 May 1811, aged 19 years. He was discharged at Colchester on 5 October 1816, in consequence of ‘the reduction of the Battalion and of having been wounded in the hip and leg at Quatre Bras on the 16 June 1815, and of his term of Service expiring in 1818.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
