M.M. London Gazette 2 April 1918, and in London Gazette 11 February 1920, this correcting regimental number, second initial, and unit from ‘Rly. Volunteers’ to ‘Bombay, Baroda, & Cent. India Vol. Rif.’

Garvan’s M.M. Card confirms the award for Mesopotamia, where he was attached to the 6th Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment, and shows entitlement to the British War and Victory Medals.
