‘This officer is a member of the Punjab Civil Service and was granted the title of Khan Sahib on the 4th June 1928. He has continued to render valuable service to Government as a Revenue Officer and has maintained his reputation for honesty, tact and courtesy. As he is on the eve of retirement, His Excellency recommends him for the title of Khan Bahadur in recognition of his faithful service.’
