Jamaica, Morant Bay Rebellion, 1865, a gold locket, enamelled monogram RG on front, one inside space empty, the other engraved (Presented to Lieut Graeme, 2nd Battn 6th Royal Regt by the Inhabitants of the County of Surrey Jamaica as a token of their gratitude for his services rendered in the suppression of the Negro Rebellion which broke out 12 Octr 1865) on gold tablet, 33 x 24mm, 16.62g. Small piece of enamel missing, otherwise very fine, a fascinating and presumably unique piece; with loop and ring for suspension, in case by B.
