The Ouse & Derwent Volunteers (Yorkshire), a fine and rare officer’s shoulder belt plate 1803-1808, the gilt rectangular clipped corner back plate with single ornate silver mount being a silver strap with unit title and enclosing an eight pointed star with central St. George’s cross, above the coronet of a Royal Duke with plain scrolls issuant, above this an ornate display of the three emblems of the Union, complete with all four fasteners and impressed with maker’s mark ‘Linwood’ very slight scuffing and gilt loss to the back plate otherwise in excellent condition £600-800
