Four: Serjeant A. Vince, Seaforth Highlanders

1914 Star, with clasp (1049 Pte., Sea. Highrs.); British War and Victory Medals (1049 Sjt., Seaforth); War Medal 1939-45, mounted as worn, together with a related silvered metal Gordon Highlanders pin-backed bonnet badge, 74 x 60mm., contact marks, nearly very fine and better (5) £120-160

Family sources indicate that Serjeant Vince was a Piper in the Gordon and Seaforth Highlanders and became a Regimental Sergeant-Major, serving some 21 years in the Army, with approximately 14 in India. He died aged 82 in the 1960’s.
