Proctor embarked at Queenstown aboard H.M.S. Serapis on 12 December 1882 and disembarked at Bombay on 13 January 1883. He appears as ‘Dead’ on the roll (WO 100/69f.245). His next of kin was Ellen Proctor of 22 Chandos Square, Liverpool.
