Cormick McKone was born at Aseragh, County Galway, and enlisted at Aughnacty, County Tyrone, for unlimited service in the 13th Foot, on 11 May 1805, aged 21 years. He served in the West Indies from March 1808 until June 1813, and was discharged due to ‘broken constitution’ on 17 October 1820. Sold with copy discharge papers.
