Frederick Goode was born in and enlisted at Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Serving in the 2nd Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment, he died in Mesopotamia on 13 July 1917. He was buried in the Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery.

Rowland Dale enlisted in Leicester. Serving in the 1st Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment, he was killed in action on 22 March 1918, aged 20 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
