A silver badge, of cartouche shield shape, engraved with coat of arms and motto below ‘RECTE FACIENDO NEMINEM TIMEAS’ by Henry Williamson Ltd, Birmingham 1924, cased, dimensions 8.0 x 6.3cm. £100-£120

The Latin motto translates as ‘Fear None in doing Right’.
This motto was later used by the 322nd Bombardment Group, USAAF, founded in 1942.
