Two early 19th century fob seals, for the Wray family, the first gilt example inset with carnelian and engraved with an achievement of arms, the second gold mounted, of urn shape, with chased acorn border, the chalcedony engraved with crest of an ostrich, with motto ‘Et juste et vray’ (Both just and true), together with a gilt metal small fob seal, modelled as a bird, the onyx plaque engraved with an ear and eye with indistinct motto, lengths 27, 35 and 22mm. (3) £200-£300

The first two seals bear the crest and arms for the WRAY family, of Glentworth and Kelfield, Lincolnshire.
