Charles I (1625-1649), Crown, 1642, no mm, from the same obv. die as previous, Shrewsbury plume behind King, rev. three Oxford plumes above Declaration, group of four pellets before legend, 29.93g/1h (Morr. A-2; cf. SCBI Brooker 869; N 2405; S 2946). Very fine, rare (£1,200-1,500)
