J. Mck. Robertson, R.N.V.R.); British War and Victory Medals (Lieut. J. Mck. John McKellar Robertson was born in Glasgow on 20 May 1883, the son of Ship-owner William Robertson, and was educated at Glasgow High School and Glasgow University. Commissioned Lieutenant in the Clyde Division, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, on 15 May 1913, he was appointed Captain, C.O. East Scottish Division in 1928, and C.O. Clyde Division in 1930. A Justice of the Peace and Honorary President of the Glasgow and District Naval Association, he retired in 1937 and died on 17 March 1939.
