Arthur Gooderham attested for the Yorkshire Regiment on 4 January 1912 and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 5 October 1914. He was discharged due to wounds on 16 January 1916, and was awarded a Silver War Badge No. 71552.
