Royal Masonic Institute for Girls, 1927, a silver and enamel Festival Steward’s jewel by M.T. Lamb & Co, lion and crown above plumes in Garter, 44mm, hallmarked 1926. Extremely fine; with pin back (£50-60)

The Prince of Wales, later Edward VIII, was patron of the RMIG in 1927, hence the incorporation of the plumes and motto into the design of the jewel. Sold with further background information
