The Fellowes Medal, c. 1837, a copper striking of the gold award medal by B. Wyon and Hamlet, winged Fame flying right, rev. legend in wreath, 41mm (Storer 1016). Scratched in centre of reverse, otherwise very fine (£20-30)

The medal was founded at University College Hospital Medical School in 1837 by the Revd Robert Fellowes, LLD (1770-1847), and is now awarded by the Royal Free and University College Medical School
