Ireland, Dublin, Edward Stephens, Proof Penny, 1816, in silver, undraped bust of Wellington, edge plain, 18.45g/6h (W 1892a, this piece; Eimer 229a). Tiny test mark on reverse rim at 1 o’clock and a few minor surface marks, otherwise extremely fine with light grey tone, of the highest rarity and believed the only known specimen (£900-1,200)
