Death of Charles I, 1649, a silver medal, unsigned [probably by T. Rawlins], bare-headed cuirassed bust left with lion’s head on shoulder, two roses in legend above, svccessor vervs vtrivsqve, rev. constantia cæsaris ian 30 1648, salamander left amid flames, 41mm, 14.44g (Platt I, p.245, type B [B2, this item]; MI I, 341/188; E 157). Suspension loop removed at 12 and trace of mount (?) at 6 o’clock, good fine, rare £200-£300
