18th Century, Middlesex, Spence’s mule Halfpence (6), man hanging, revs. Pandora’s breeches, 10.31g/6h (DH 827); may the knave, etc (2), decorated border, 10.80g/12h (DH 830a), toothed border, 12.59g/12h (DH 831); open book (2), 6.93g/12h (DH 833), 9.73g/6h (DH 834); three men hanging, rev. open book, 11.15g/6h (DH 838) [6]. DH 830a and 833 very fine, latter with flan crack, others good very fine or better, usual cud of metal on rim of DH 827 (£100-120)
