Sarah Charlotte Dunne trained at the Brentford Infirmary, Isleworth, from 1911 to 1914, and subsequently joined the Territorial Force Nursing Service, seeing service post-War in Iraq and North-West Persia. Appointed a Sister in the Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service on 1 November 1926, she was placed on Retired Pay in December 1935, and was re-employed in May 1941.
