Ray Wall served as a Liner Cook on the Cunard liner Queen Elizabeth 2.

The style of naming on this medal indicates that this is a post-2014 issue, awarded after the qualifying period for the medal without rosette had been extended from 14 June 1982 to 21 October 1982.
