Alan Richard White was the son of Mr and Mrs W. H. White of High Wych, Hertfordshire. He died whilst on active service with the 1st Field Regiment, Royal Artillery at Bir Ya Acov, 6 September 1947, and is buried in the Ramleh War Cemetery, Palestine.
