Albert Arthur Booth was born on 16 February 1925 and attested for service during the Second World War with the Royal Marines on 18 August 1942. His Certificate of Service notes that he was wounded in action on 26 June 1944. He was awarded a good conduct badge on 16 February 1946, and was discharged on 1 July 1946.
