Henry Fred Burpitt was born in West Ham and enlisted at Stratford, Essex. Serving with the 16th Battalion Rifle Brigade, he died of wounds on 7 August 1917, aged 20 years. He was interred in Mont Huon Military Cemetery, Le Treport.

Lance-Corporal George Jaffrey was born in Oyne, Aberdeenshire and enlisted at Huntly. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders, he was killed in action on 25 September 1915, aged 29 years. He was interred in St. Mary’s A.D.S. Cemetery, Haisnes.
