William Joseph Power was born in and enlisted at Dublin. Serving a Private 8641 with the 1st Battalion Leinster Regiment, he died of wounds on 14 March 1915, aged 26 years. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. William Joseph was the son of Edward and Bridget Power of Kimmage Road, Harold’s Goss, Dublin.
