George Frederick Jones was born in Chelsea, Middlesex and enlisted at Fulham. Serving with the 1st Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, he entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 23 February 1915 and was killed in action on 27 July 1916 at Delville Wood. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Sold with copied research.
