Herbert Arthur Green attested for the 10th (Scottish) Battalion, Liverpool Regiment on 1 September 1914 and was one of the original contingent who travelled to France aboard the S.S. Maidan in November 1914. He was discharged on 25 May 1915 as medically unfit.
