George Fodder was born in Sedgnave, Lodden, Norfolk. He enlisted into the Bedfordshire Regiment in 1867, aged 18 years, having previously served in the Norfolk Militia. His overseas service was restricted to a period in British North America between June 1868 and February 1870. He was discharged in February 1889. Sold with copied service papers.
