William Henry Vine was born at Brighton on 12 February 1839 and joined the Royal Navy on 8 March 1858. He was recommended for his L.S. & G.C. medal in March 1875 and was discharged to Shore from H.M.S. Active at Simons Bay on 12 May 1878. Sold with copy service papers.
